PETTY interprets the aesthetic sensibilities and values shaped within human endeavors, transcending time and place.
Rather than merely reproducing them, we reinterpret these elements through a contemporary lens,
presenting them as design to explore new possibilities for value and experience.
Simultaneously, we conduct the majority of our production—from fabric development to sewing—within Japan.
The techniques, sensibilities, and underlying culture cultivated within Japanese craftsmanship
have evolved with the times while remaining intimately connected to people's lives.
Some elements have been lost in this evolution,
while new values have emerged through creation.
We focus on this background,
applying these techniques and spirit within today's production environment.
Through the experience of touching and wearing our creations, we aim to deliver fresh perspectives and value.
By continuously preserving techniques and fostering new creations,
we strive for sustainable craftsmanship for the future.

PETTYは、時代や場所を超え、
人々の営みの中で形づくられてきた美意識や価値観を読み解いています。
それらを再現するのではなく、現代の視点で再解釈し、
デザインとして提示することで、新たな価値や体験の可能性を探っています。
同時に、生地の開発から縫製に至るまで、
制作の大部分を日本国内で行っています。
日本のものづくりの中で培われてきた技術や感覚、
そしてその背景にある文化は、
時代とともに姿を変えながら、人々の暮らしと密接に関わってきました。
その変遷の中で失われたものもあれば、
創造を通して新たに生まれた価値もあります。
こうした背景に目を向け、
今日の制作現場の中で、その技術と精神を活かしています。
触れて、身にまとうという体験を通じて、新たな視点と価値を届けること。
そして、技術の継承と新たな創造を重ねながら、
これからの時代に向けた持続可能なものづくりを目指しています。
